Bioclimatic roofs

Bioclimatic roofs are the updated version of standard louvered/pergola roofs. Bioclomatic pergola roofs are adjustable so you can let in or block out heat and light when you desire. With the four preset position on the louver’s remote, bioclimatic roofs can be adjusted to various positions.

The Glass Room Company’s bioclimatic louvred roofs are customisable. What this means is, lighting, side shades, heating and sliding glass panels can be incorporated as a later time to transform the roof to a closed room that can be enjoyed at any time of the year. It is also possible to have our pergola installed as free standing units or as an addition to your current property. Whatever your requirement might be – a shaded area for your back door, garden or patio, we’ve got you covered!

Design

Louvered roofs that extend over your property protecting a garden or a porch or patio should look like they were meant to be part of your property. At Outdoor Living Group, we have a wide range of designs for our louvered roofs. We have experts who have years of experience in designing the perfect roof for individual clients. You may have ideas about what you want for your louvered roof over your outdoor space. We have the experience to design it, construct it and install it and complete your vision for the perfect outdoor space.

Bioclimatic roof features

We add a lot of technical enhancements to our louvered roofs. Our roofs are designed to allow no light gaps or leaks and do so without exposed gutters. Controlling the louvered blades gives you control over the amount of sunlight that filters into your space. Regulating this gives you complete control over the climate of your outdoor space at the touch of a button.

Our louvered roofs are designed to give you ample room to find the perfect fit for your property in HenleyonThames. When you add side glazing to the roof at any point in the construction, you create an insulated outdoor space that can be enjoyed no matter the weather. We have a number of optional extras you can add to your outdoor space, including electric heating, outdoor blinds and LED lighting.

Internal blade insulation is an option to be added to the louvered roofs. This reduces the sound of the rain on the roof and can maintain the heat in your outdoor space during the winter. We construct our bioclimatic pergolas to rotate the louvers from 0 to 135 degrees easily and quickly in order to provide adequate ventilation to your outdoor space. Our louvered roof can be designed and constructed to be free standing. This can give you ample space to enjoy your garden or any other outdoor space without the restriction of an enclosed space.

The weather isn’t much of a deterrent to enjoy your outdoor space, no matter the season. Our louvered roofs provide you with the control over how much of the elements you want to let in. Must a planning permission be obtained to install a louvered roof? Most houses in the UK will already have permitted development rights, so one can go ahead with installing a louvered roof.

The cost of Bioclimatic roofs.

The cost of construction depends on if your louvered roof is attached to your property or freestanding. We also have a number of options that could affect the cost. Call us for a brochure or consult with us on your project and we can come up with a design that works for your property.
